David has guided large global teams, advised pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on growth and innovation, and advanced clinical research across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States.

Michael Shipton is Chief Business Officer at Lightship, leading commercial strategy, business development, finance, legal operations, and quality. With more than 30 years in life sciences and technology, Michael has held senior leadership roles at Profound Research, Science 37, Syneos Health, and Quintiles (now IQVIA). His expertise spans sales, marketing, partnerships, operations, and customer engagement, with a track record of building strong teams and driving growth.
Chief Operating Officer
Darcy Forman is Chief Operating Officer at Lightship, with over 25 years of experience in clinical research and corporate strategy. She has led clinical operations, patient engagement, data management, and nursing solutions at Science 37, Firma Clinical, and global CROs. At Lightship, she oversees operational delivery, IT, and HR, and is dedicated to designing trial models that expand reach and enhance the experience for patients and sponsors.
Chief Medical Advisor
Lindsay Van Pelt, MD, is Chief Medical Advisor at Lightship. A physician leader with expertise in clinical governance, regulatory-aligned medical decision making, and cross-functional healthcare operations, she previously served as a Medical Director III at AbbVie, overseeing tissue services and donor eligibility. With a background in emergency medicine, she brings disciplined judgment, systems thinking, and a focus on patient safety and high-quality execution.
